Sam Trelow
President
Sam is chairman of the board and president of Parkhurst Manufacturing. He manages day-to-day operations and oversees the organization’s strategic direction. Sam has more than 40 years of experience with the company and is knowledgeable in every area of the business.
He is married to his wife Patty and has three sons and 11 grandchildren. Sam has lived his entire life around Sedalia, Missouri, and appreciates the strong work ethic and familiar connections with family, friends and community that are more easily developed and kept in a rural setting.
In his free time, Sam is an auctioneer and an avid outdoorsman. He loves hunting, fishing and anything else that gets him into the woods. He shares his passion for the outdoors with his grandchildren and lets them tag along every chance he gets.
Laurie Boer
Vice President of Accounting and Administration
Laurie has more than 45 years of experience with Parkhurst Manufacturing. She is responsible for the overall financial stewardship of the company, and she oversees human resources and the technology used in each area of the company.
She and her husband, Dutch, a pastor of a local church, have five children and 11 grandchildren. Laurie and Dutch grew up and received their education in the Kansas City area. After moving to Sedalia, they grew to love the area and now consider it home.
In their free time, the couple loves being on the road exploring the country, whether it’s a one-day trip or a week-long adventure.
Toby Pierce
Vice President of Operations
Toby is a vice president and co-owner of Parkhurst Manufacturing and ensures that sales and operation goals are accomplished. Toby has over 20 years of experience at Parkhurst and has worked in all areas, making him knowledgeable in every aspect of the business.
Toby grew up in Sedalia, Missouri, and graduated from Smith-Cotton High School. After high school, he received an Associate of Arts degree from State Fair Community College in Sedalia before earning a bachelor’s degree in Geology from University of Central Missouri. Toby and his wife Missi have one son.
Toby is an avid outdoorsman and likes to hunt and fish. He also plays a variety of sports. When not working or spending time with his family and friends, you will find Toby in the timber or on a lake, field or course.
James Trelow
Vice President of Finance and Marketing
James brings a strong background in business, marketing and technology to Parkhurst. He is a vice president and co-owner, overseeing finance, marketing and purchasing.
A degree in English and Marketing from University of Central Missouri gives James the creativity to find non-obvious solutions to problems and the analytical mindset required to focus on the details that lead to success. He is always learning and loves the challenge and limitlessness of business.
James and his wife Amanda are the proud parents of two children, Emily and Mason. In his free time, James enjoys going on outdoor adventures with his kids and supporting them at their sports and music events.
